I've been reminded, in a very big way, that our character, our true self, is defined by our reactions to the situations that we face.
Everyone has trials... adversity... crosses paths with people who do things that we don't understand, things that sometimes hurt us or cause us pain. And how we react to these circumstances shows who we truly are.
Do we swirl and twist in the drama, deepening and widening the maddening, spinning whirlpool, feeding it energy and making it larger? Or do we calmly face the circumstances, understand them for what they are (a natural part of a normal life), deal with them and move on?
I've seen both sides. I know my choice.
Like Earl says? Do good things, and good things happen.
