6-9: On This Day
Twice a day, fill up the watering can, lug it over to the flowers, give them a drink. They've been spoiled by the rains in Oklahoma and are not overly pleased when left high & dry.
I have acquired about 6 mosquito bites on my legs from the knee down through this process of wading through the tallish green grass (that's finally growing strong), dodging spiderwebs at the spigot with the mean spray to get the water to these plants.
The bug guy is coming today so my evening trip with the watering can might be a little less adventurous. I'm okay with that because the spiderweb next to the angry spigot is starting to look angry, too.
